FAQs

Is IV Hydration right for me?

We provide IV therapy for any and all that we can. At your first appointment you will answer a series of questions to ensure that there are no reasons that we can’t safely provide services to you.

Is IV therapy safe?

Yes, IV therapy is very safe. We have a great team of knowledgeable staff to ensure we provide a safe treatment appropriate for your needs to keep you going. We use the highest quality, hospital grade products, everything is new and sterile for each client. We disinfect between each client as well.

How long does it take?

It takes about 60-90 minutes for most IV therapies. If it’s your first time, it may take a little bit longer.

IM Injections take about 10-15 minutes.

We really encourage you to fill out the Intake Forms you receive when booking ahead of time!!

How often can I receive IV therapy services?

It depends on what type of treatment you are receiving, but typically not more often than once a week for nutrient bags. But you can receive additional Just Hydrate fluids with some Add-Ons for a subsequent therapy in one week. Contact Us for specifics if you are wanting more frequent services.

What if I'm afraid of needles?

That’s not uncommon and not a problem! We are equipped to help you through the process from using the smallest needle possible, numbing spray, and having a very experienced staff, we’ll get you through it!

What if I want a more private setting?

No problem, we have that covered too! We have two private spaces to give you the privacy you would like, please mention this at scheduling.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes, you must be at least 18 years old or 16-17 years old with parental consent. We do not currently offer services for people under 16 years of age.

What's your cancellation policy?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged the full price of your appointment. We do understand that life happens sometimes. So each client gets 2 “free passes” for late cancellations, then you will be charged for your missed appointment. No shows will still be charged for missed appointments.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we are a professional business (PLLC), with a professionally trained, experienced staff and adhere to all WA state Rules and Regulations regarding elective IV therapy as well as best practice standards.  We have a physician who oversees and directs all aspects of our services.

Do you accept insurance?

Short answer, no. Unfortunately, like most health promoting services, it usually isn’t covered by insurance. We are happy to provide you with a receipt if you would like to submit it to your insurance. But, we do take HSA & FSA!

I want to bring a friend, but your booking times are 15 minutes different, what do I do?

Yes, just book two appointments 15 minutes apart, but come at the same time of the first booked appointment. Or give us a call and we can take care of it!

How do I book Add-Ons online?

Unfortunately, our system limits booking only one service at a time. After you book, you can write any Add-Ons you’d like in the “Reason for Visit” text box, give us a call, or just let us know when you arrive for your appointment!

Is this a franchise?

Nope! We are locally owned and operated!

Do you offer mobile services?

Yes! We do mobile services for events. Contact us, if you’d like to have us provide IV therapy services at your next event!

We can also come to your residence or location, provided we have available staffing for your desired date/time. Call or Email (after hours) to arrange this at peakydrationlounge@gmail.com  (An up-charge does apply for this)

Will I feel better right away?

Often, yes! Many people feel an immediate difference following or even during their IV therapy service. Some people, however, do not feel it right away or even a drastic difference at all. And that’s totally normal too!  The nutrients and fluids are still working at the cellular level in body to fuel, repair, and replenish you.

What do I do during my IV Therapy?

We actually get this question often, so here are some ideas:          — Read — Socialize — Scroll — Listen to an audiobook — Take a nap — Color/Draw — Work (we have free WiFi and a laptop surface) — Brace yourself for this last one….Just Relax!

Can I eat or drink during my IV Therapy?

Yes! Feel free to bring food or a snack. We also highly encourage you to drink during your IV therapy, especially if you have a really nutrient dense bag. We have some tasty cold beverages and hot tea available here.
